Blog numero dos

Well this is blog number two. I would like to say I am getting the hang of this, but that would be a lie. So I can't remember where I left off in my last blog so I will just pick up with what I did yesterday. We went to the supermarket at some point and for roughly 11 dollars American we bought some drinks, coffee, and snacks. The cool part is that in the states the coffee we bought and the 2 2.5L we bought have cost the entire 11 dollars. Anyrate, yesterday we met up with more of our friends here and spent part of the day with them, one of them Costica, gave my dad a rather large painting... we are still trying to figure out the logical way to get it home seeing as it will not fit to well in a suitcase. Then yesterday we just lazed about the flat(apartment) for a bit then went to dinner with probably the 8 best dinner companions ever. These 8 companions where the little girls from the orphanage where we eat most of our meals. We ate dinner spoke with them in what little english they knew and what even littler romanian we speak. Then after dinner we played "FREEZE" similar to American freeze tag but basically entailed me and dad chasing them around a room for 30 minutes or so. Afterwards we met up with some friends and went for coffee and just stayed in the town center and shot a few games of pool. It continues to SNOW here, normally i would be excited by this, but its -5 degrees Celsius on average here in the morning and only warms up to a 1 or 2 so its quite chilly and if u know me you know i despise being cold. Today I am working on finishing up a video i started when i was home for H*ART Gallery, its an art gallery on E. Main st for homeless and disadvantaged artists. I am also working on designing plans for some soccer goals we want to build for a couple of the local parks here in Beius for the children who can't afford to pay to play on the nice fields. I am hoping that after designing them, we will be able to find all the necessary building materials and tools, some things just don't translate well here. We are also trying to get a meeting with the mayor of Beius so that we can get it ok'ed to build these goals. I found out last night that in fact do not have Monster Energy drinks in Romania, I was extremely saddened, for most of you know this is a staple in my daily life... I have reverted to drinking coffee.... not quite the same but it does the job. Well I am running out of things to say currently. Thanks again for all the prayer and thoughts... if you havent seen  yet i posted a video on facebook of yours truely.

Keep it Classy and Safe,
David
